Tips to Women Empowerment Globally

Spread the love

Believe in Yourself

There are well-known facts that if anyone wants to do succeed in life, they must believe in themselves first. We have to believe in ourselves and our abilities because our inner confidence will create our external results.

I saw many people quickly lose faith in themselves when encountering failure and fear. When you saw your lack of confidence in others, they will pick up on that and won’t take you seriously.

Not many people live the life that they have always wished to live; they give up on their life goals as soon as they encounter the first attempts. One of the leading causes for this is that they do not believe in themselves.

Lead By Example

One of the best ways we can empower women to show an example. Their role models deeply influence women, so make sure you’re a good one. Admire strong women, celebrate different types of beauty, empower women with kindness, and encourage women to make their aspirations a reality.

Know Your Worth

The US Census Bureau reported in 2018 that, “Women who hold full-time jobs in the United States Black women paid 61 cents. Native American women, 58 cents and Latinas just 53 cents for every dollar paid to white, non-Hispanic men.” Working women in the United States and around the world are still experiencing inequality in pay and structure in the workplace.

Know your worth, and make sure the women in your workplace know theirs. Be brave, and ask for what you deserve, future generations of working women will thank you.

Show Your Appreciation to the Women in Your Life

Say thank you, give and accept compliments, and help out the women around you. Show the women in your life how much you appreciate them by sending a thank you card, complimenting them, or simply telling them what they mean to you.

Go out of your way to make women feel good.

Listen—women are under some pretty heavy pressure to adhere to totally impossible standards of beauty and behavior. Whenever possible, try to remind them that they’re doing a pretty damn good job.

“When I see a woman who is beautiful to me, I always tell her she’s beautiful,” life coach Shazia Imam tells mbg. “I used to feel shy to say it, especially to strangers and worrying they would think I’m weird! But I decided to let my self-doubts go and say it—whether it’s at a social event, at the cash register, or even on the street! And every single time, the woman smiles back to say ‘thank you’ with a massive smile on her face. Often with the words, ‘You made my day!'”

Place women as leaders and give them decision making roles

However, many women are now influential contributors to the economy of some states; gender equality is still a myth in the more important place of the world. Nowadays, they are actively working in technology, food industries, natural resource management company, domestic wellness, entrepreneurial work, as well as energy and climate change. But, most women still don’t have access to excellent job opportunities and resources to get a better-paid job. As the focus shifts towards inclusive economic structures, providing women with leadership opportunities and making them a part of decision making can go a long way in achieving women’s empowerment.
